Our Story and Expertise
We started Tacoma Carpentry in 2016 with a simple mission: bring solid craftsmanship back to residential carpentry. Over the years, we've built a reputation by tackling the jobs that matter most to homeowners. Wood rot, structural damage, termite damage, floor joists that need replacing, load-bearing walls that need careful removal. We've learned what works in Tacoma homes, and we've earned the trust of hundreds of families who depend on us to keep their houses standing strong.
Today we work across the full spectrum of residential carpentry. That includes the structural carpentry that fixes foundations and frames, the specialized repairs that stop rot and damage in its tracks, and the finish carpentry that turns a house into a home. Custom built-ins, crown molding, deck repair, door installation, stair work, exterior trim. We've mastered these trades because we do them every day, and we've stayed local because Tacoma is home.
Our team
Our team is made up of carpenters who grew up in the trades and chose to stay in Tacoma because this is where we belong. We work together because we believe good craftsmanship is a team effort, and we show up for our neighbors with the same care we'd want for our own homes.
